Our Journey
We are a legacy company founded in 1977 with the vision of bringing ground-breaking technology to the country. Over the years, VIPL has successfully established robust and exclusive alliances with its partners, who now bank on the organization to expand their operations in India and across South East Asia.
A glimpse of our journey through the decades:
1970s - Operations commenced by supplying steel for wheels and coaches to Indian Railways
1980s - Provided ball bearing and rolling stock business to Indian Railways and established our 1st International partner while emerging as a fast-growing organization within the domain
1990s - Supplied first T-28 machine along with operations and maintenance service to Indian Railways
2000s - Brought the technology of Track Geometry and Hot Rail Profile measurement systems in India
Started the supply and operations of Ultrasonic Testing Machine at Bhilai Steel Plant
Brought the concept of Rail Grinding with RGMs, LRGs and SRGMs Machines 96, 72 and 20 Stones to Indian Railways and various metros in India.
Completion of bundled operation and maintenance international contracts for Rail Grinding completed in Africa and Saudi Arabia.
2010s - Supply, testing and commissioning of Mobile and Inground (Pit) lifting jacks to various metros in India, Bangladesh.
Today - VIPL is operating a fleet of over 100 machines in India. It has become the largest provider of bundled Operation & Maintenance services to Railways and Metros pan India with the Largest contingent of trained service engineers
